Features Of The Modal Fiber

.Modal has the characteristics of high strength fiber uniformity, and the wet strength is about 50% of the dry strength, which is superior to the performance of adhesive, and has good spinnability and weaving ability. Modal fiber has a higher wet modulus, and the shrinkage of its yarn is only about 1%, while the boiling shrinkage of viscose fiber is as high as 6.5%.

.The high strength of the Modal fiber material makes it suitable for the production of ultra-fine fibers. It can also spin on ring ingots, transfer cups, and airflow spinning machines, and can obtain fine yarn with almost no defects. It is suitable for weaving light and thin fabrics(such as 80 g/m2 ultra-thin fabrics) and heavy fabrics. The super thin fabric made has good strength, appearance, feel, drape and processing properties, and the heavy fabric made is thick but not bloated.

.Modal fiber spinning can produce more uniform stems, which can be mixed in different proportions with other fibers, such as wool, cotton, hemp, silk, polyester, etc., to obtain high-quality yarn. 100 Modal material can be pretreated, bleached and dyed using traditional cellulose fibers. Traditional dyes for cellulose fiber dyeing, such as direct dyes, reactive dyes, reduced dyes, sulphide dyes, and azo dyes, can be used for the dyeing of Modal fabrics with the same dyeing rate. Modal fabric material is better in color and bright. It can be treated with mercerization by blending with cotton, and dyed evenly and thickly, so the color can be maintained for a long time.

.The fine appearance of 100 Modal fibers makes their fabrics silky and elegant, which greatly elevates the level of clothing. Good hand feeling and drape make the garment more elegant and more casual. The extremely soft touch gives the fabric a good name for the second skin.
