Modal Fabric Care

Modal fabric is the high humidity modulus of cellulose fibers developed by the Lenzing Company. Its raw material is made of European beech woods, made into wood pulp and then processed into fibers through special spinning processes. Its raw materials are all natural, harmless to the human body and can be naturally decomposed harmless to the environment. There is no pollution created in its whole production process.

Modal fiber, a new kind of environmentally-friendly fibers, combines the comfort of cotton, the draping of viscose, the strength of polyester and the touch of silk with soft and bright colors after repeated washing. The knitting process still combines the soft and fluffy, high elastic and comfortable property of the fiber and knitting to complement the superior performance of the two. With circular knitting machines, the single and double knitting fabric made of Modal and bare spandex filament are soft, smooth and elastic with good draping, moisture permeability, and a silky touch. The dry strength of Modal fiber is close to that of polyester while its wet strength is much higher than that of ordinary viscose. Its luster, softness, moisture absorption, dyeing and dyeing durability are all better than those of pure cotton products.

Washing methods of Modal

• The clothes made of Modal blended fabrics are suitable for washing but not suitable for dry cleaning.
• The ironing temperature can be controlled within 120 - 140 ℃

Maintenance of Modal fabrics

• Reduce friction, pull, and keep changed frequently when wearing.
• After washing, drying and ironing, the clothes should be laid flat;
• It's highly absorbent and the mildew caused by high temperatures, high humidity and unclean environments should be avoided.
• When ironed, it needs a medium temperature with less pushes and pulls so that the garment will naturally stretch to the right.
