Properties of the modal fiber

1. The fineness of 100 modal fibre material is 1dtex, while that of cotton is 1.5-2.5 dtex and that of silk is 1.3dtex. Modal fiber is soft, bright, clean and colorful. Its texture is particularly slippery and the surface of the cloth is shiny. Its drape is better than the existing cotton, polyester, and human cotton, and it has the luster and touch like silk. It is a natural mercerized fabric.

2.Modal fiber has the strength and toughness of synthetic fiber, with dry strength of 35.6cn and wet strength of 25.6cn. Its strength is higher than pure cotton and terylene. The moisture absorption capacity of Modal fiber is 50% higher than that of cotton fiber, which makes Modal fiber fabric keep dry and breathable. Therefore, modal fabric is the ideal close-fitting fabric, suitable for health clothing, conducive to human physiological circulation and health.

3.Compared with cotton fiber, 100 modal fiber material has good shape and size stability, which makes the fabric possess natural wrinkle resistance and thermal resistance, making it more convenient and natural to wear. Modal fabrics, on the other hand, are softer and brighter as they are washed.

Washing of the modal fiber

1.Wash with water and soak; the soaking time shall not exceed 15 minutes. Viscose fabric will be hard in water, and the fiber structure is very weak, so wash gently to avoid pilling or cracking.

2.Use neutral detergent or low-alkali detergent, and the temperature of washing liquid shall not exceed 35 degrees; When draining, fold the clothes together, squeeze out the water in a large amount, and avoid twisting them to avoid excessive shape.

3.After washing the clothes in the washing liquid, wash them with clean warm water first and then with cold water. Otherwise, some of the detergent will be fixed on the clothes and it will not be easy to wash down, making light-colored clothes yellowing.

4.Avoid sun exposure after washing.

Maintenance of the modal fiber

1.When wearing, it is necessary to minimize friction, pull, and often change to prevent long-term wear deformation; After the clothing is washed, dried, and ironed, it should be laid flat and opened according to the color of dark and light. It should not be hung in the wardrobe for a long time to avoid elongation. 

2.Modal is highly hygroscopic, and the collection should prevent mildew caused by high temperature, high humidity and unclean environment; Apply low temperature pad to iron when pressing, and push and pull less when pressing so that the clothing naturally stretch straight.
